It is decorated with two Civil War era cannons, and a miner and ore car.
It has a metal fire or snow roof. One must cross a single lane 1938 bridge to get here. The building houses old mining claims and other records. Sierra County split from Yuba County in the 1850s.
It is still a long skinny county.
