Depicted Crucifixion is located in the front of Chapel of Ss. Cyril and Methodius (Kaple svatého Cyrila a Metodeje) on the summit of Radhošt Mt. in Beskydy Mountains.
Stone cross with gilded iron-cast Corpus Christi was erected on the summit in 1805, almost 100 years prior the chapel construction. The church was financed by citizen of Roznov town, Mr. Janík.
Pictoresque Chapel of Ss. Cyril and Methodius is one of the best known Catholic pilgirimage sites in Moravia. The stone and by wooden shingles faced Chapel, built in 1896-1898, was designed by architect Felix Skibinský in pseudo-Byzantine style to symbolize the Byzantine origin of both the national Saints.
