This Bicentennial Marker is on the Cabin of Peter Navarre in the Toledo Botanical Gardens. Built in the mid-1800s the cabin was one of the first in East Toledo. It was moved to the Crosby Gardens by the Trilby-West Toledo Rotary Club and dedicated on May 22nd 1976.

Peter Navarre is a famous Toledo resident who first settled the East Side in 1807 and fought in the War of 1812 as an American Scout.
