This collection of millstones are in a park in Spearfish, South Dakota. The historical marker reads: "Spearfish Flour Mill. Built in 1883. These grinding wheels are from the Spearfish Flour Mill. Built in 1883. Dismantled in 1938."
The brass marker reads: "Mill Stones imported French Granit. Used 1879-1883. Spearfish Flouring Mill. First in the Black Hills. Marker placed by Spearfish Women's Club 1959."
