Kampeska is one of the larger lakes in South Dakota.
It is a rather shallow, dish shaped lake and the depth is maximum of 16 feet when it is full. Currently, as of this date, it is about 30 inches below full level.
Many boaters and fishermen enjoy this lake. There are several boat launches around the lake and shore fishermen can utilized the parks that border the lake.
Many houses surround the lake and values are quite high.
