On July 24, a new park opened for the Woodbridge community, and central part of it is a Veteran's Memorial.
The Memorial shows the batches of all service branches of the US military. It is surrounded by bricks engraved with the names of veterans. The bricks were donated by members of the community as a very special way to honor their loved ones. |

Currently, the memorial is surrounded by 215 engraved bricks, but there is still room for more.
The memorial plaque shows the year 2015, but due to some technical problems, the park and the memorial were not dedicated until 2016.

LIBERTY PARK
This memorial is dedicated to the men and women who have served our country in its armed services.
We salute their efforts to defend our country and respect the personal sacrifices they have made. Stand in freedom and look aloft to see Stars and Stripes still fly.
The bricks upon which you stand are inscribed with their names and service branch. They are here in residence and spirit at Woodbridge.
