The sundial has a pale blue, possibly grey, background with a gold trim around the edges. As it is facing, just about, due south it covers the ten hours from 7am to 5pm. The hours are Roman numerals coloured gold with a drop shadow. Black lines indicate the quarter hours. At the top of the sundial the year 1824 is shown with the words "Nosce Teipsum" that translates to "know thyself" in English. The dial appears to be clipped to the wall so is probably made from some light material such as wood.
Sundial Type: Vertical - Wall mounted dial plate
