The tower, on top of the house, appears to be lead-lined in the clock's location and that forms the clock's background. The clock face is pressed from a single sheet of metal with three concentric rings holding the minute and hour marks together. The outer ring is coloured gold and the other two, inner rings, are coloured black. The minute marks are coloured gold as are the hour marks that are Roman numerals. The hands, being a simple basic design, are also coloured gold.
