The Interurban Bridge, also known as the old Ohio Electric Railroad Bridge was built in 1907 by the National Bridge Company of Indianapolis. Built with steel reinforced concrete and filled with earth. At 1220 feet long the bridge was the longest of its type at the time. The 12 arches are Roman aqueduct design.
The bridge was abandoned in 1937 and placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1972.
