Whether you choose to enjoy the casual fine dining of Usher's House, overlooking the Red River of the North and the Fargo, N.D. park on the far side or the more casual setting of the bar, tables and booths of Monk's Pub the burgers will be coming from the same wonderful kitchen of Executive Chef Cary Carr & Sous Chef Chris Marteny.
The Classic Burger, with lettuce, tomato & onion on a toasted bun is a good burger but The Duma with garlic, green onions, Havarti cheese and bacon is, I think, an even better burger. I like the beef patty, but the Duma is also available with a turkey patty or chicken breast. Please don't take my word on the matter. Stop by and try one of these burgers yourself.
Did I mention the Elk Burger that is available starting at 5 o'clock? No? The elk burger has a half pound patty, vermouth roasted mushrooms, horseradish crème fraiche and duck bacon. I don't know what horseradish creme fraiche is, but I know it is tasty!
Along with whichever burger you order, it will come with either in-house cut fries or sweet potato fries.
Usher's serves food from 11am to 10pm Monday through Saturday.
