informs us:
"As a force in visually defining the sport of surfing, Aaron has pursued his passion for surf photography to the far ends of the earth. As a senior photographer for Surfing magazine for 25 years Aaron was at the core of the surfing world, traveling to over fifty countries and discovering new talent and surf spots on a global scale. Aaron was selected from among the world’s top photojournalists for seven “Day in the Life” book projects. He was also named one of the top five sports photographers by American Photographer magazine and was the subject of a cover story. Aaron has been featured on numerous TV shows for networks such as PBS and Fuel TV and is a featured subject in the documentary “Lost and Found.” In addition, Aaron has worked for prestigious commercial accounts, helping to shape their brands through his gift for photography. Currently, Aaron is being considered for a new TV show titled “Captured with Aaron Chang”, which will take viewers around the world and behind the scenes as Aaron introduces them to the adventure of extreme photography. Combining his love for photography and his love of surfing, Aaron has begun creating photo-surfboard sculptures, some of which can be seen at his galleries in Solana Beach and downtown San Diego. He is also is in the process of developing a 3D mobile surf installation, which will be a stunning photographic mural showcasing his work. An active member of his community both personally and professionally, Aaron contributes to many charities and serves on boards of directors. Currently residing in north San Diego County, he is a loving husband and father of two boys and is, of course, an avid surfer. You can keep up with Aaron by subscribing to his surf photography blog, where art lovers, travelers and photographers alike are a part of Aaron’s community.
