[FR] Peillon est un village perché sur un éperon rocheux, entouré par un ravin abrupt. Sur les escaliers qui tiennent lieu de rues donnent les marches d'accès aux maisons, que des arcades, jetées sur d'étroites ruelles, relient entre elles.
[EN] Peillon is one of several perched villages in the Alpes-Maritimes department, just a few kilometres north of Monaco and the Cote d'Azur but at almost 400 metres altitude. It is in a startling location, on top of a cliff and with higher mountains rising behind the village, and one of the most attractive villages to be found in the area.
