Ron grew up on a farm southwest of Howard, SD. Born to Robert and Helen. He had 4 siblings and a small brother who died in infancy.
At the time of his death, he was living on an acreage south of Mitchell, SD.
He had many friends and his prayer service was attended by hundreds of friends and relatives.
