The grave is poorly tended & surrounded by weeds but has the protection of a wooden fence & the headstone has been strengthened by steel rods. Otherwise it would have collapsed onto the ground. The surrounding pastures support rich dairy farms. The Graham Family were early pioneers of the district & after reading a long PDF document prepared for the local council, it is likely this William Graham was the son of the William Senior who was found guilty of stealing a horse & was transported from Scotland to Port Jackson (a penal colony) (now Sydney) on 7 September 1815. He was granted his Ticket of Leave in 1823.
