This lion statue is mounted on the front of Arundel Town Hall on the south side of Maltravers Street close to the junction with Arundel High Street.

The lion is carved from stone and is about half life-size. It is stood on four legs but with only its left front and hind legs visible. Its head, that has an elaborate mane, is turned to the left so is looking over Maltravers Street. There also appears to be a crown around its neck. Its tail is sticking out horizontally behind it.
