Tim Holt's headstone is located in Memory Lane Cemetery in Harrah, the town he lived in at the time of his death. This is a lovely cemetery located on N.E. 10th Street, between Dobbs Road and Harrah Road.

Born in California, Tim Holt was born Charles John Holt III. He began his acting career in 1938 in the film "The Law West of Tombstone". He then went on to play roles in "Stagecoach" (1939), "The Rookie Cop" (1939), "Dude Cowboy" (1941), "The Magnificent Ambersons (1942), "My Darling Clementine" (1946) and probably the one he is most famous for, "The Treasure of the Sierra Madre" released in 1948.

During World War II, he was a decorated combat US Army Air Force B-29 bombardier, serving in the Pacific Theater.

In 1973, Tim Holt died from bone cancer at the age of 54 in nearby Shawnee, Oklahoma, where he had been managing a radio station. His headstone is a flat granite double marker where he lies next to his wife, Berdee who outlived him by 38 years. Two blocks east of the cemetery, a street has been named in his honor - Tim Holt Drive.

In 1991 Tim Holt was inducted posthumously into the Western Performers Hall of Fame at the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

His headstone inscription reads: HOLT / Charles J. Tim / Feb. 5, 1919 / Feb. 15, 1973
