This is a tall granite monument with an arched top. The town of Harrah and the surrounding area was heavily settled by Polish immigrants and their influence is readily recognizable today.
This monument has engraved at the top, crossed flags of the United States and Poland, with a cross above them. It begins with an inscription in Polish, followed by one in English. The monument reads:

who brought with them their
Catholic faith, their culture,
and a readiness for hard work.
The present parish of St. Teresa
is a testimony to their
persevering labor
Erected in 1979 in the reign of the first

of his visit to the United States
