This is a tall granite monument with an arched top. The town of Harrah and the surrounding area was heavily settled by Polish immigrants and their influence is readily recognizable today.

This monument has engraved at the top, crossed flags of the United States and Poland, with a cross above them. It begins with an inscription in Polish, followed by one in English. The monument reads:

Na pamiec naszych
Polskich przodkowych
1891
Od Polskiego klubu swietej Teresy

To the first Polish families
who brought with them their
Catholic faith, their culture,
and a readiness for hard work.
The present parish of St. Teresa
is a testimony to their
persevering labor

Erected in 1979 in the reign of the first
Polish Pope, John Paul II and the year
of his visit to the United States

Compliments of the
Tom Nation Family

Location: St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church
