Aus einem ehemaligen Zollhäuschen wurde der begehbare "Bücherschrank im Dreiländereck". Der Schrank wurde am 3. Februar 2016 feierlich eingeweiht. Er steht nahe der deutsch-französischen Grenze an der "Route de Trèves" (D654) zwischen Perl und Apach. Der Bücherschrank symbolisiert das friedfertige Zusammenleben mehrerer Nationen durch die grenzüberschreitende Kooperation und Kommunikation der Gemeinden im Dreiländereck Luxemburg - Deutschland - Frankreich. Die Nutzer können dem Schrank beliebig viele Bücher entnehmen und behalten oder Bücher hineinstellen und verschenken.
A former tollhouse became a bookcase near the German-French border. The "cabinet" was inaugurated on 3 February 2016th. It stands near the French-German border on the "Route de Trèves" (D654) between Perl and Apach. The bookcase symbolizes the peaceful coexistence of various nations through the cross-border cooperation and communication between the communities in the triangle Luxembourg - Germany - France. Users can take books and keep or put back books and give the cabinet as desired.
