Hand pump on the Otto-Leege-Pfad (Otto-Leege-Path) in the dunes of Juist. The water comes from the freshwater lens under the dune. It is rainwater, which has been filtered by plants and sand. This makes it a bit murky, but it's the best drinking water. Due to the strict German laws for drinking water, must be attached here the sign "Kein Trinkwasser" ("No drinking water").

How to find.:
This pump is on the Otte-Leege-Pfad in the dunes of Juist. Because the island is car-free, there is also no parking place.


Visiting Restrictions:
The pump is freely accessible, but it is recommended not to commit the path in the dark because in the dunes are no lights.
