" Francisco Zoo officials have welcomed a new addition to their giraffe family — an adorable female calf who was born late last week.

Officials said the young calf and its mother, Barbro, were both doing well. The calf – which stood 6-foot-tall at birth — stood up and took her first steps within its first 30 minutes." (visit link)
