At the boundary between Shelburne and Buckland, is a war memorial for World War I and II veterans.

The monument is located on the Bridge of Flowers, an arch bridge that used to carry trolleys across the Deerfield River that now is a path among flowers and trees. A donation is requested to enter. Entry is from either the Buckland end, by the Buckland Town Hall, or the Shelburne end, off Water Street.

The memorial is a rock about two feet wide. The plaque has the following on it:

Who served in the Armed Forces of

and in loving memory of the
following who made the supreme sacrifice
