EN: This stone cross stands on a path along the border of the forest in the north of Wallbach. It is a simple stone cross, a statue is missing, but it has a small shelter for it and there are mounting holes to see.
In the lower third, there is painted by hand directly on the stone: "O Wanderer, if you pass by, so pray a silent prayer But ere you speak the Amen, do not forget the poor souls!" The cross is not dated.
DE: Dieses Steinkreuz steht an einem Weg entlang des Waldrands im Norden von Wallbach. Es ist ein einfaches Steinkreuz, eine Statue fehlt, allerdings hat es ein kleines Schutzdach dafür und es sind Befestigungslöcher zu sehen.
Im unteren Drittel ist von Hand direkt auf den Stein gemalt: "O Wanderer, wenn Du gehst vorbei, so bet ein still Gebet! Doch eh' Du das Amen sprichst, vergiss die armen Seelen nicht!" Das Kreuz ist nicht datiert.
