"Kaman Aerospace Corp developed the Seasprite in the mid-1950s as a shipboard utility helicopter for the Navy. Its primary missions were anti-submarine warfare and anti-ship surveillance while secondary missions included search and rescue, medical evacuation, personnel transfer, surveillance and reconnaissance, post-attack damage assessment, and naval gunfire spotting. Seasprites were in service with the U.S. Navy from 1962 until 1993. Bu.No. 149021"
