Now known as St. Joseph & St. Patrick Church, the cornerstone for this building was placed in 1871. Construction was completed in 1882. The congregations date back to 1841 and 1849, respectively.
The property includes a shrine to Marianne Cope (1838-1918) who had attended the parish. In 2012, she became Saint Marianne of Moloka'i.
