Die Motive zeigen u.a.
The mosaic in the hall of Bremen Main Station called "Tobacco Trade", made in 1957 by belgium artist Alexandre Noskoff. It shows the world of tobacco in the 1950ies, with plantations at Indonesia and Greece, the Carribean and South America. The central picture shows Bremen and the most modern harbour and shipping facilities in this time. The seafarer shows proudly an ethnic mask he takes home for overseas - a behaviour we would see more critically today.
