Located near the Bird Rock stop along Pebble Beach's famous 17-Mile Drive.
This sign has a photo of seals and depictions of cormorants. It informs the reader that the small nearby island known as Bird Rock once hosted just birds...but after the guano was mined for fertilizer, sea otters, seals and sea lions returned.
