This website (
visit link) informs us:
"SPANISH BAY BEACH
If Stillwater Cove is a home for divers, kayakers and boaters, then Spanish Bay Beach is where the surfers live. It is a right beach break, and while waves are reportedly best from September to March, they can be found year-round.
Another unusual feature of Spanish Bay Beach is its collection of stacked rocks. Sometime in 2008, visitors to Spanish Bay's beach began stacking rocks one on top of the other; other visitors followed suit, and now this impromptu art can be found all along the beach."
