Springer Cemetery, with 678 burials, dates back to the late 1800's, and is currently still in use. It lies on the grounds of the Springer Missionary Baptist Church.
J.B. Williams' headstone is a tall tree stump with slightly squared edges. The inscription is located on a scroll, with a dove and crossed implements above. The inscription reads:
