Springer Cemetery, on the east side of Springer has approximately 678 grave sites. With darkness fast falling, we scrambled to catch some of the numerous WOW markers here.
Jesse Callaway's headstone is a traditional tree stump WOW marker. The stump is tall with squared edges. The stump stands on a stack of four horizontal logs, and the inscription is engraved on a stone shield. It reads:
