"La chiesa di San Bartolomeo in località Contarina di Porto Viro, venne costruita nel 1726, e la sua facciata principale è caratterizzata dalla presenza di un doppio ordine di lesene ioniche sovrapposte: quello inferiore maggiore, quello superiore contratto. La chiesa internamente dispone di un'aula rettangolare con quattro cappelle laterali, ed è scandita nelle pareti dalla 'travata ritmica' di lesene doriche, mentre in quella d'ingresso è presente la cantoria lignea con il grande organo. Infine sul soffitto di copertura sono presenti tre grandi dipinti.

L'antica chiesa, voluta dalla nobile famiglia Contarini di Venezia, fu costruita nella metà del Seicento ed eretta in parrocchia il 7 settembre 1665.
1726 - 1726 (ricostruzione intero bene)
L'inondazione rovinosa del Po, avvenuta all'inizio del Settecento, lesionò gravemente la struttura e pregiudicò le condizioni statiche generali. L'attuale edificio venne ricostruito nel 1726.
1845/09/08 - 1845/09/08 (ristrutturazione intero bene)
La consacrazione solenne avvenne il giorno 8 settembre 1845 dal vescovo J. De Foretti dopo un generale restauro conservativo.
1986 - 1999 (ristrutturazione intero bene)
La chiesa, nel Novecento, venne ridipinta internamente più volte, l'ultimo intervento fu quello del 1986. La facciata della chiesa fu restaurata nel 1999." (

The Church of St. Bartholomew in the locality Contarina of Porto Viro, was built in 1726, and its main facade is characterized by the presence of a double row of Ionic pilasters superimposed. Internally the church has a rectangular room with four side chapels and is marked in the walls from the 'rhythmic girder' of Doric pilasters, in the entrance is a wooden choir with organ. Finally on the coverage ceiling are three large paintings.
