Located at 464 Calle Principal in Monterey, CA, this House hosted the first California Constitutional Convention in October 1849.
The Museum mostly speaks to that era but has some other historical pieces as well. Although there is no sign accompanying this sculpture it is no doubt intended to depict the most important industry in the area...fishing and Cannery Row.
The work depicts a lone fisherman pulling up a net full of fish. No artist, title or date is presented.
Sector of the workforce: Fisherman

Created or Donated by which group: Not listed
