Veteran's Memorial Park is a local green-space maintained by the Town of Indian Head. In addition, there are several floral gardens planted and maintained by local volunteers.
The park itself is dedicated to the many veterans from Indian Head. There is a commemoration plaque worth visiting facing North Railway avenue. The easiest way to locate the plaque is to find the Saskatchewan and Canada flags in the summer months. The coordinates for the plaque are: N50° 31.803' W103° 40.367'
The park is an excellent location for a picnic with tall trees providing excellent shade. There are several picnic tables and benches to enjoy as well. While picnicking, there is plenty of room for kids to play with a wide open field that is great for playing catch or other outdoor games.
