Bailey's Bar-B-Que - Fort Worth, TX - Historic Eats on Waymarking.com

Hours are Monday - Thursday, 10:30 am to 4:00 pm, and Friday, 10:30 am to 3:00 pm. They accept all the major credit cards, as well as cash. Most folks get their food to go, as there are maybe half a dozen tables in this small shack. They're not going to make Texas Monthly's Top 50 any time soon, but the food is consistent, and even strangers are treated like old friends.

This is Fort Worth, so beef is king here, although they do offer a pulled pork sandwich, which gets great reviews, and curiously, bologna. Ribs and hot links are new menu items to go with staples like ham, turkey, and sausage. Like many barbecue joints in Texas, you can order a variety of meats by the pound, as much as you like, and a snapshot of the menu is in the gallery. Sides are chips, slaw, potato salad, and pinto beans, while drinks are bottled or canned.
