The Visitors Center for the Torrey Pines State Reserve doubles as a Nature Center and Museum.
The Reserve's website for it's Nature Center (visit link) merely provides links to various subjects:

"Nature Center
Under this section are material on the natural sciences of the Torrey Pines State Reserve.

Birds , Monthly Bird Survey

Insects & Spiders
Mammals
Plants
Reptiles & Amphibians
Seashore"

But a visit to the Visitors Center reveals a small area with various exhibits.... stuffed animals...mountain lion, skunk, sea animals as well as information about the rare Torrey Pines that give the Reserve its name. There is als a small tree ring exhibit.

Visit Instructions:
Visitors should visit the Nature Center and post a photo of themselves (or GPS unit) either inside or outside of the nature center visited. Logs without photos WILL be allowed if a lenghty description of one's visit and a mention of what they learned is included.
