This abstract sculpture from 1976, by Louise Nevelson (1899-1988), displays several posts and other objects that appear to be parts of furniture pieces stacked together. Although the work almost has the appearance of wood...it is actually made of steel.
Note that the sculpture has been moved into the nearby courtyard - the satellite photo is old.
