In Waltham, along Main Street, is the Christ Church, Episcopal.

The church is on the south side of the road, next to the branch Post Office and across the street from the Waltham Public Library.

The church is a rambling L-shaped structure. At the west end is a stout tower and steeple with fieldstone on all sides. The walls are also field stone to a shingled roof. On the east side is the fellowship hall with a combination of fieldstone and English Tudor features with red brick. The building was built in 1898 and is on the National Register of Historic Landmarks.

The Episcopal Church congregation built this church to replace the wooden structure at this location. Unfortunately, the church web site was down at the time of composing this WM, so the more general web site for the Episcopal Church is used as a link. Also, the Wikipedia entry for this church is below.
