EN: The parish church of St. Michael is located on a hill north-east of the village center. It is a single-aisled church with the bell tower above the main entrance to the northwest. A chancel adjoins the nave, behind that is the sacristy, all parts of the building have their own roof structure.
The church of Kaisten was first mentioned in 1443, the present baroque building dates from 1717. The builder was probably the city foreman of Säckingen, Johann Pfeiffer. The church was already renovated several times, but only slightly remodeled. Much of the interiors are still from the original stock of the early 18th century.
DE: Die Pfarrkirche St. Michael befindet sich an einem Hügel nordöstliche des Dorfzentrums. Es ist eine einschiffige Saalkirche mit den Kirchturm über dem Haupteingang im Nordwesten. An das Kircheschiff schliesst sich ein Chor an und dahinter die Sakristei, alle Gebäudeteile haben eine eigene Dachkonstruktion.
Die Kirche von Kaisten wurde 1443 erstmals erwähnt, der heutige barocke Bau stammt von 1717. Erbauer war vermutlich der Säckinger Stadtwerkmeister Johann Pfeiffer. Die Kirche wurde schon mehrmals renoviert, aber nur wenig umgestaltet. Vieles der Innenaustattung ist noch von Originalbestand des frühen 18. Jahrhunderts.
