EN: The hiking trail through the vineyards from Frick to Kaisten offers outstanding views over Frick and the surrounding area. To the left, you can see the old village with the church hill, populated is the since Roman times, to the right the newer residential and commercial districts with the railway station and the clay pit, which has become famous by numerous dinosaur findings.

In the background is the neighboring village Gipf-Oberfrick, that has grown together with Frick, and the wooded foothills of the Jura, where some well-known ruins from the Middle Ages and Celtic times are located.

DE: Der Wanderweg durch die Weinberge von Frick nach Kaisten bietet eine grossartige Aussicht über Frick und die Umgebung. Links sieht man den seit der Römerzeit besiedelten alten Dorfkern mit dem Kirchhügel, gegen rechts die neueren Wohn- und Gewerbequartiere mit dem Bahnhof und die Tongrube, die durch zahlreiche Saurierfunde berühmt wurde.

Im Hintergrund liegt die Nachbargemeinde Gipf-Oberfrick, die mit Frick zusammengewachsen ist und die bewaldeten Ausläufer des Tafeljuras, wo auch einige bekannte Ruinen aus dem Mittelalter und aus keltischer Zeit zu finden sind.
