It's one of the oldest wooden bridges in South-Western Germany.
The bridge's length is 34 meters. Vehicles with a maximum width of 3.70 meters could pass. But the bridge is closed for vehicles, only bikes and pedestrians are allowed to pass.
The bridge has been renovated in 1784, 1844, 1877, 1953, 1988, 2000.
