EN: This stone wayside cross stands near Kaistenbergstrasse in the east of Frick next to the motorway bridge.
The cross has a bronze statue and bears the letters INRI and IHS, the crossbeam is dated 1860.
The cross is quite hidden among the trees on top of a small slope. I suppose that the road was higher and closer to the cross once, and it was lowered during the motorway construction.
(Since then, the space around the cross has been cleared somewhat and it is quite visible).
DE: Dieses steinerne Wegkreuz befindet sich an der Kaistenbergstrasse im Osten von Frick gleich neben der Autobahnbrücke.
Das Kreuz trägt eine Bronzestatue und die Buchstaben INRI und IHS, am Querbalken ist es mit 1860 datiert.
Das Kreuz steht ziemlich versteckt zwischen den Bäumen uber einem kleinen Abhang. Ich nehme an, dass die Strasse früher höher und näher am Kreuz war und sie während des Autobahnbaus abgesenkt wurde.
(Inzwischen wurde der Platz um das Kreuz herum etwas gerodet und es ist ziemlich gut sichtbar)
