UK:
The Lek is from the lower Rhine at Wijk bij Duurstede to the Nieuwe Maas at Krimpen aan de Lek. The river is part of the main stream of the Rhine and thus important for shipping between Rotterdam and Germany. The Flaw allows, inter alia, through the Amsterdam-Rhine Canal, Lekkanaal and Merwede Canal in connection with other waterways. The Amsterdam-Rhine Canal crosses the Leak just past Wijk bij Duurstede and the merwede Canal in Vianen. An older water connection is the Vlist starting from schoonhoven is the connection with the Hollandse IJssel. This River is an old tributary of the Lek. The length is 62 km.

If you click the exact coordinates shows how many posts you will see in a north-westerly direction?

NL:
