The coordinates shown above are at the entrance sign for this cemetery, located on N3310 Road and Prairieview Cemetery Road. After turning into this entrance, there is about a mile drive west to the cemetery site. This is a treeless, plowed area, and the cemetery lies just east of railroad tracks and east of Highway 77. The only way into the cemetery is from this east entry.
The cemetery contains 90 graves, with a couple of them dating back to the late 1800's. The cemetery is actively used today.
We couldn't resist taking a photo of a group of vultures sitting atop a high utility pole. No other comment !!
