I recovered this U.S. Department of Agriculture Department Forest Service section corner from 5-5-1965 in good condition. This mark is a circular bronze disk located south of Williamson River Road. It is monumented on top of a large, flat and smooth rocky outcrop, flush with the surface on a sloping hill. The disk is surrounded by a small cairn of lava rock to aid in recovery. There is a metal LAND SURVEY MONUMENT witness post located about six feet north of the station. There are also a couple of bearing trees located nearby. My posted coordinates should place you very close to this station.
