The Santa Fe Railroad Station in Brownwood, Texas, is located on the block defined by the Santa Fe main line on the south, Washington Avenue on the north, Depot Street on the west, and Adams Street on the east. The depot is actually two separate buildings which are joined by a covered loggia. The Harvey House Restaurant and Hotel on the east end of the property was built in 1911. The passenger station at the west end of the property was built in 1909. Both are in the Prairie style. The Harvey House had a coffee shop, restaurant, kitchen facilities and a tea room. The last passenger train through Brownwood left the station in July of 1968. The complex has been fully restored now houses the Chamber of Commerce.
