HOW TO GET THERE From San Diego, follow Interstate 8 west toward the beach and exit at Nimitz Blvd, bearing left. Turn right onto Catalina Blvd. and follow it until it becomes Cabrillo Monument Drive. The road will terminate at the parking lot for the Monument. Detailed driving directions »
PUBLIC TRANSIT DIRECTIONS Departing from America Plaza Trolley Station, take the westbound 923 bus to Nimitz and Rosecrans, where you will connect with the southbound 28 bus. Stay on the 28 briefly until the Roseville - Fleet Ridge stop, where you will connect with the southbound 84 bus, which will take you all the way to the monument.
TRAIL CONDITION The trail is well-maintained and very easy to follow. A significant portion occurs on pavement.
