The old farm house area in Gilbert is a collection of old farm buildings and old farm equipment representing the history of Gilbert as a cotton and hay producer. This Allis-Chalmers Model WC tractor is on prominent display in the area. This is one of the 178,000 WC's made between 1934 and 1948 and would have been priced between $675 and $785. The price is based on the steel, rather than rubber wheels. It has a 201 cubic inch engine and could run on either gasoline, kerosene, or alcohol. The brakes required two hands, one on either side, making steering while stopping a challenge. The tractor is in very good condition and the presence of an up to date oil filter suggest that it is still operational.
Engine Type: Internal Combustion

Wheel Type: Steel

Make: Allis-Chalmers
