I recovered this U.S. Coast & Geodetic Survey benchmark from 1943 in good condition. The datasheet info is adequate for station recovery with the exception that the wooden witness post is no longer there and this benchmark is now located near a telephone pole that is also being used as a fence corner. This benchmark is also listed on a topography map as 'BM 4307'. My posted coordinates should place you very close to this mark.

DESCRIBED BY COAST AND GEODETIC SURVEY 1943 6.9 MI NW FROM SPRAGUE RIVER. ABOUT 6.9 MILES NORTHWEST ALONG THE SPRAGUE RIVER ROAD FROM THE POST OFFICE AT SPRAGUE RIVER, KLAMATH COUNTY, 55 FEET SOUTHWEST OF THE CENTER LINE OF THE ROAD, AT AN ACUTE-ANGLE CORNER IN A FENCE, 3 FEET SOUTH OF THE CORNER FENCE POST, AND 2 FEET EAST OF A WHITE WOODEN WITNESS POST. A STANDARD DISK, STAMPED G 352 1943 AND SET IN THE TOP OF A CONCRETE POST PROJECTING ABOUT 3 INCHES ABOVE GROUND.
