In Keene, along Gilbo Avenue is this sign for The Center at Colony Mill.
The sign is visible from the road and is near where the road has a 90 degree bend. It is in front of a semi-circular plaza.
The sign is double-sided, with an area advertising stores - or available space. Above, inside an arch, is a form that looks like a steam locomotive. The locomotive is a 4-4-0 (2 sets of guiding wheels, and 2 sets of drivers) and has a fluted, tall smokestack, and cowcatcher. The number, on the cab and on the front, is '149.' No tender, though.
The Center at Colony Mill is a strip mall that is set in a building complex that used to be car repair shops for the railroad that was here.
