According to the Ontario marriage registration (1920 #015917), Annie Barrow Hargreaves Finlayson (daughter of William Finlayson and Nellie Honeyman) married John Stephen Percy Ball in Ottawa, 17 May 1920. Annie was born in Scotland.

In hospital Wednesday, Nov. 3, 1965, John S. P. Ball, beloved husband of Ann Finlayson, of 306 Irene Crescent, father of John and Allan, of Ottawa, Mrs. H. V. Rose (Beverley) of Burlington, Ont., Mrs. John Turner (Joan) of Belleville, Ont., brother of Mrs. E. Davis, of Ottawa, and Mrs. S. Mackey of Utica, NY, in his 72nd year. Resting Hulse and Playfair Central Chapel, 315 McLeod Street. Interment Pinecrest cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Heart Foundation.
