The clock is located in the centre of the building's pediment. The face is black and circular with the minute and hour marks painted directly on to it and coloured gold. Roman numerals are used for the hour marks. The hands, being a basic design, are coloured gold. The minute hand has a tail that is painted black. There is no tail on the hour hand.
